Top floor addition with back extension on an original timber cottage in the beach side suburb of Malabar. The ground floor retained the 2 original front bedrooms whilst extending an open plan layout. Enormous bathroom with laundry and ample storage. Kitchen/dining-lounge room and office nook, looking out over spacious covered deck to the pool area all while being sympathetic to the external appearance. The first floor addition captured exceptional district and water views. The master bedroom complete with bay window, ensuite, walk-in robe & access to the balcony. To complete the first floor are 2 more bedrooms, full bathroom and second lounge room. Internal finishes mirror the ground floor period details this brings a seamless transition to the new works.


This is not our first job we have completed for our Maroubra client. We have worked together now through two extensive renovations, with not all work being carried out in one go instead of working in stages. Our client has an eye for detail she throughly researches all facets of each renovation which in hand enhances our expertise & craftsmanship and aesthetically produces a picture of simplicity and decadance. On this site we opened up the kitchen & living space, accomodating the every changing needs and optimise space and practicality. It was definitely a transformation in need, we remodelled the main bathroom room with porcelain tiles, free standing stone bath and custom cabinetry. To the rear of the property we updated one bedroom and converted and small bedroom to a secondary living space both framed with aluminium doors with louver windows flowing out to an enormous "spotted blue gum" deck.

No room left untouched, this full home renovation designed with a growing family in mind. The Build consists of renovated bedroom on the ground floor with an open plan design to the rear of the property spilling onto a covered entertainers deck. First floor structure extend through the back of the original roof providing an office and private parents retreat with ensuite. The landscaped backyard included a timber walkway to a double garage and loft over, suitable for storage of children's play area.
